JMK Line Dancing
JMK Line Dancing

Hello
Growing up in a home filled with the sounds of Country Music and the iconic voice of Elvis, I developed a deep love for these genres. Many nights, my mom would wake me up to watch Elvis on TV, igniting my passion for music. I cherish the memories of attending performances at the Oakdale with my mom and grandma, where I had the incredible opportunity to see legends like Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Charlie Pride, Charlie Rich, and Crystal Gayle. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for the artistry and storytelling that Country Music embodies.
My Story
Growing up, music was an integral part of life. I spent hours dancing and singing, whether it was at home, during school talent shows, or at the Record Hop on Friday afternoons. My Grandma would take me to see local bands, and we would dance the night away, creating cherished memories.
In 1991, a family friend introduced me to Illusions Night Club in Wolcott, where I discovered the joy of Line Dancing. It was liberating to dance freely without needing a partner. I soon began sharing my passion by teaching private lessons, and by 2015, with encouragement and support from my husband DJ, I expanded my reach to various venues, including dance studios and community events. I also love to volunteer my time for different events, helping to provide entertainment and keep the spirit of dance alive.

I currently teach 4 nights a week and DJ is my BRAT(back row assistant teacher!). Three of my classes are Beginner Classes and one is Low Intermediate. They are located in Seymour, Naugatuck & Watertown.
